What are the Surin Islands?

The islands are within Mu Ko Surin National Park and they are located in the Phangna province. The National Park offers two accommodation spots on Koh Surin Nua: the headquarters at Ao Kong Khad and Hat Mai Ngam. Both locations have beachfront camping, a restaurant, and shower facilities. Each campsite has a restaurant that offers delicious Thai cuisine. The main islands, Ko Surin Nuea and Ko Surin Tai are 200 meters apart. Surin Nuea features several bays, and the largest bay is Ao Mae Yai, located in the southwest.

Snorkeling & Scuba Diving

Surin islands are popular for snorkeling and scuba diving because of their vibrant coral reefs and crystal clear water. Visitors will see Nemo fish, including many vibrant marine life and colorful coral reefs. The best time for diving at the islands is during the high seasons, between December to April as the water becomes clearer and calm during this time.
