Getting There & What to Bring
To visit Khai Nai Island, you’ll need to book a long-tail boat or speedboat tour from Phuket, Krabi, or Khao Lak. A lot of tour companies can book for you or you can use Google to find a good booking agent to book for you. Most tours hit several picturesque islands and beaches in a single-day trip. This means waking up extra early to get on your bus and then to the pier to catch your boat to nearby islands, and also some of these use speedboats as well from island to island. Once you arrive at each island you can go ahead and begin your photo ops on each island.
But some things we must remember are, when packing for the island, be sure to bring proper swimwear, aqua socks or sandals, sunscreen, a hat, snacks, and plenty of drinking water. Even though most boats provide ice water and ice drinks, some people opt to bring their favorite water. A dry-water bag helps keep phones and cameras safe, those are very important to bring with you, if you do not like to carry anything outside of the boat that will get wet.
